Controlled Labour Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector / Trainee Quality Inspector on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous quality inspection experience or an individual looking to develop a long-term career within quality and manufacturing.
Working Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
- 20-minute paid break
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Duties Include:
- Inspecting raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products
- Verifying dimensions using measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment
- Carrying out visual and functional inspections
- Preparing and completing inspection reports
- Recording non-conformances (NCRs)
- Maintaining quality records and traceability documentation
- Supporting production teams to ensure quality standards are met
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers preferred
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read engineering drawings is advantageous
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Trainee applicants with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered
