Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday / 8am - 5pm
Job Type: Full-time

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a busy and established Waste Recycling company based in Dudley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous Counterbalance experience who is looking for a long-term position within a busy waste environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently within a recycling environment
• Moving and positioning materials and components around the yard
• Loading and unloading materials using the FLT
• Ensuring loads are correctly secured and safely handled
• Following all site health & safety procedures and lifting regulations
• Working closely with the production and plant teams
• Carrying out general yard duties when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift
• Experience working within a Recycling or Yard environment xiskglj
• Good understanding of safe lifting and handling procedures
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy workshop
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• A strong awareness of health & safety

An in-date & external Counterbalance Forklift licence/certificate WILL be an ESSENTIAL
