The company offers solutions for domestic, commercial and public-sector clients, working with a wide range of leading HVAC manufacturers and systems to deliver high-quality climate control environments.
The Role:
We are seeking a Trainee Air Conditioning Installation Engineer / Improver to support installation projects across St Helens, the North West and occasionally nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical ability and a willingness to learn who wants to build a professional career in HVAC installation.
As part of this role, you will assist senior engineers on site during the installation of air conditioning systems, work closely within project teams, and progressively develop your skills across leading manufacturer equipment and installation techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the installation of DX, Split and VRF/VRV air conditioning systems
- Assist experienced engineers during project work, on site and in the field
- Learn to install equipment from manufacturers such as Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Toshiba and Panasonic
- Follow all health & safety policies and procedures
- Complete accurate documentation and reports as required
- Provide a professional and customer-focused service as part of the installation team
Training & Qualifications Provided:
- Full training in air conditioning installation techniques
- PASMA (mobile access tower) qualification (subject to probation)
- IPAF (mobile elevating work platform) qualification (subject to probation)
- UKATA Asbestos Awareness training
- Assistance in obtaining a CSCS card if not already held
About You:
You’ll be a good fit if you have:
- A practical, mechanical, engineering-minded approach
- A full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Confidence working at heights (training provided)
- Basic IT competence and the motivation to develop new skills
- You are based within easy commute of St Helens WA11 8LL
- Previous HVAC experience is advantageous but not essential - full training is provided where required.
