As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in generating leads, setting up sales meetings, and helping grow our pipeline of potential clients. You will identify and engage with decision-makers, conduct outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and qualify leads before passing them to the sales team. In addition to scheduling and coordinating the first meeting with prospects, you will attend the meetings and help transition the lead-to-client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Outreach to potential clients by phone, email, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of leads using CRM tools.
    • Ability to produce 75+ outbound calls daily.
  • Initial Outreach & Qualification:
    • Initiate contact with potential customers to introduce our product/service.
    • Qualifying leads by understanding their needs, requirements, challenges, and interest level.
    • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate meetings or demos with the sales team, technical vertical leaders, and the potential client.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to improve outreach strategies.
    • Maintain detailed records of all interactions in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
    • Provide feedback to improve messaging and outreach effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English – Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least one year of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (preferably in a U.S.-based company).
  • Strong cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting skills.
  • No phone hesitancy – Must be confident and comfortable making outbound calls to prospects.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft).
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working remotely.
  • Availability to work U.S. business hours (Eastern, Central, or Pacific Time).
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in tech B2B sales.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (SalesLoft).
  • Previous remote work experience in an international environment.
  • Some familiarity with IT Security.
  • Basic understanding of the US government and their contractors.
