The Regional Intelligence Analyst will work in the Global Security department of a major international consumer healthcare company. They will be part of a dedicated team of analysts, who will provide tactical and strategic intelligence monitoring on the Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America region, to ensure that relevant stakeholders can bring critical decision-making and crisis management skills to bear in order to minimise the impact to people, assets, information and reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide intelligence-related support to Regional Security Directors and Regional Operations Centres.
  • Monitor global, regional and local events to identify threats, remove false positives and present potential threats in a meaningful and comprehensive way.
  • Aggregate data and produce reports to represent status and results.
  • Conduct strategic, tactical and quantitative analysis in support of security investigations and operations.
  • Conduct incisive analysis and forecasting on geopolitical and security issues; monitor country threat ratings and draw from databases of incidents and visualization and analytics tools to help the client make informed business decisions and plan operations with confidence.
  • Partner and effectively communicate with team members and other departments to produce insights, develop analytics-driven solutions, and support intelligence gathering and risk analysis.
  • Leverage the full range of services provided by Control Risks\' risk monitoring platform and access relevant country analysts (and other Subject Matter Experts) when required.
  • Develop and issue intelligence communications regarding alerts that have the potential to impact staff or operations.
  • Assist in the building and deployment of tools and processes in support of threat analysis.
  • Provide contextual support to disaster and crisis management coordination.
  • Identify and improve inefficiencies and remediate process gaps.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Two to five years of relevant experience in threat intelligence, risk analysis or related field.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key security, political, regulatory, operational, integrity and social risk issues across Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America.
  • Excellent English- and Spanish-language oral and written communication and presentation skills. Other relevant languages will be an asset.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines while interacting with colleagues and clients in sometimes challenging situations.
  • Ability to find, evaluate and succinctly summarize and critically assess large volumes of information, filtering out non-relevant details.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
