As a Marketing Data and Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our understanding of customer behaviour trends across our channels, analysing end-to-end engagement within the customer journey and optimising our performance through data-led insights. You will be proficient in data mining across campaigns, websites, and CRM systems, and you will transform big data into clear, actionable findings and recommendations. Your insights will directly inform marketing leadership decisions, helping to improve campaign effectiveness, enhance customer engagement and continued performance improvement. This role requires both a sharp analytical mindset and the ability to communicate data stories in an engaging, user-friendly way to the marketing team. You have the experience and ability to grasp priorities quickly, work independently to solve problems and build your community of stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Analyse data from web analytics, CRM, email campaigns, events, and social media to quantify engagement and surface insights across the customer journey.
- Use statistical and analytical tools to interpret large datasets and correlate data sources which deliver actionable recommendations for marketing programme improvements.
- Investigate and understand data sources and address data quality issues with technical teams.
- Conceptualize, design, and deliver dashboards aligned with marketing priorities.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales operations and technical teams to validate data, define and deliver requirements.
- Build and refine Power BI dashboards and reports to track marketing performance.
- Present data in clear visuals and summaries, aligned with the design principles of the organization’s centralized dashboard suite.
- Ensure key insights and trends are highlighted for senior leaders.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis, preferably with marketing or customer data.
- Experience in B2B or professional services industry is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, spot trends, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and other data analysis/visualization tools; experience with database querying or statistical tools is a plus.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing and CRM metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented and methodical in data validation and reporting.
- Proactive problem-solver with a solution-oriented approach to data challenges.
- Collaborative and self-driven, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GA4, Google Looker Studio, and other marketing analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems such as ClickDimensions & Microsoft D365 Sales.
- Background in statistics or data science, including A/B testing, predictive modelling, or programming in SQL, R, or Python.
