Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic Shared Service Centre team. This individual will play a key role in the execution of critical finance processes, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while adhering to established procedures and controls. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. They will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced shared service environment.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial records in line with finance Service Level Agreements (e.g., SLAs).
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations (e.g., define process and timeline for reconciling intercompany transactions between regions during month end).
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a finance operations role, preferably within a shared service centre environment.
- Strong understanding of key finance processes and systems.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
