We are inviting speculative applications to our global talent pool for experts to support on Election Observation Missions. Control Risks has been providing outsourced embedded consulting management for over 40 years, with our support allowing clients to operate successfully, utilising a wide range of expertise. Our embedded service allows our consultants to be integrated into the client's organisation and provide our service from their site. We are a preferred partner because of our ethics, security intelligence, practical know-how and management support provided by our global network of offices.

We are seeking experienced security and logistics professionals supporting Election Observation Missions. If you would like to be part of our talent pool, please submit your CV. Areas of expertise we are looking to engage in are as follows:
- Security Expert: The Security expert is responsible for making appropriate safety and security arrangements for the EOM members and will provide instructions and guidance on safety of the EU observers.
- Project Manager: Together with the assistant to project director (in Europe), the project manager in host country will arrange for all logistics and administrative requirements to deploy and repatriate the EU EOM (equipment procurement, financial and contractual aspects of the EU EOM implementation, international transportations, visas etc.).
- Logistics Expert: The Logistics expert is responsible for the operational and logistics aspects of the EU EOM, under the supervision of the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, part of it should have been acquired in an international organisation or a mission environment, ideally within the area of elections.
- First-level university degree or an equivalent professional qualification in the field of intelligence and security management, business administration, management or law; extensive experience and vocational training in the area of security management/logistics/project management.
- A strong background in security management/Operations. Field experience of operating within challenging environments is desirable.
- Thorough understanding of security policy, principles and practices, in particular the formulation and execution of field security plans and procedures.
- Strong ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders including relevant host country ministries, national police, civil protection, military services and other civilian agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to work long/irregular hours and under pressure in a sensitive political environment.
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentations skills and ability to provide guidance to election observers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in supervisory role and as a member of a team composed of individuals of different cultural and political backgrounds, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; knowledge of local language(s) is an asset.
