Embedded within a Global Tech Company, the Community Resilience Program Specialist is responsible for managing and implementing projects and key initiatives that deliver science-based resilience & well-being solutions for Global Security and Corporate Responder’s mental health and well-being. The objective is to improve Responders’ outcomes when faced with stressful situations while responding to crises on behalf of the client. The embedded consultant will work closely with the Community Resilience Program Manager to implement the strategy to build resilience for the responder population and serve as the liaison to cross-functional partners to promote, communicate and grow the Responder Resilience & Well-being program in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and execution of world-class mental health resilience solutions for global security professionals and business leaders in the region.
- Build strategic relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment of education & training offerings with other teams across the region.
- Collaborate and engage with stakeholders to manage multiple projects, initiatives, and strategies concurrently.
- Resolve project-related concerns in a timely fashion and provide constructive solutions.
- Partner with mental health, L&D, and resilience experts to develop and launch focus groups, training, workshops, and self-paced resources.
- Organize and conduct training events.
- Engage and present (written and oral) project concepts to a wide variety of internal and external partners.
- Collaborate with partners to deliver innovative and high impact products and services, and drive operational management of the Responder Resilience & Well-being initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience in addressing and navigating both chronic and acute stressors, traumatic events, and burnout resulting from prolonged exposure to emotionally challenging materials.
- Project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing and growing programs.
- Experience engaging with internal/external business stakeholders.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to use in-house tools and ability to learn quickly.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and building partnerships.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to follow-up.
- Autonomy to translate strategic direction into actionable plans.
- Experience in working with victims of violent crimes, law enforcement, military, or other populations who have dealt with either chronic or acute traumatic events.
- Experience in Emergency Management, Crisis Management, or Business Continuity.
