Overview

In this role, you will drive revenue and profit growth for the D+DI practice by cultivating new business in the eDiscovery market and adjacent areas such as compliance, investigations, and data analytics. You will build pipeline, create top-of-funnel opportunities, and support sales campaigns with cross-functional teams. By partnering with marketing and practice leaders, you’ll tailor collateral and campaigns to specific buyers and matters, while leveraging data and tech-led approaches to scale demand. This position offers a chance to shape solutions for law firms, corporate legal, and investigations clients in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities in the eDiscovery market and adjacent areas
  • Create top-of-funnel opportunities by targeting accounts and mapping buyers
  • Support targeted campaigns, events, webinars, and social media to generate qualified opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing and practice leaders to produce bespoke collateral and client messaging
  • Assist sales processes for managed services, recurring programs, and transactional matters
  • Leverage CRM and campaign data to track prospect activity and pipeline
  • Experiment with new channels, partnerships, and AI-enabled offerings to generate demand
  • Coordinate practitioner involvement to shape client needs and commercial approaches

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in sales, business development, marketing, or commercial roles in eDiscovery, legal tech, or related professional services
  • Understanding of the eDiscovery buying ecosystem and relevant stakeholders
  • Experience building pipeline via outreach, campaigns, events, and thought leadership
  • Experience selling or supporting sales of managed services and recurring programs
  • Strong commercial judgment on pricing, scoping, margins, and deal strategy
  • Familiarity with CRM, outreach tools, and campaign tracking
  • Working knowledge of eDiscovery platforms and AI-assisted/legal AI tools
  • Collaborative ability to develop collateral, pitches, and event concepts
