An all-encompassing role covering CT, VAT, Employment Tax, with global responsibilities, involving both compliance and advisory requirements.

What You\’ll Do:

  • Track deadlines and filing requirements at all levels.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop effective tax strategies to optimise tax efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and HR departments to streamline tax processes.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities.
  • Monitor legislative changes related to tax and advise management and finance colleagues accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the global tax team to ensure alignment of tax strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular tax reports to senior management.

Who You Are:

A successful Group Tax Manager may have:

  • ACA / ACCA / ATT / CTA qualification, or be part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Experience in Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax, and Employment Tax (expertise in all three is not required).
  • Experience with EMEA / EU / International Tax (at least one).
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial management systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
