Security Manager Role
Provide relevant business-first, risk-proportionate, pragmatic security advice and support for all client sites and personnel within the area of operations, aligned with the global Corporate Security Operations & Resilience strategy.
Offer leadership, advice, and support to the Security function across the geographic area of responsibility, ensuring capabilities and competencies are developed to meet business needs and act as a force multiplier for the Corporate Security Operations & Resilience strategy.
Support the client\’s product security and cross-functional anti-counterfeiting programs across the geographic area of responsibility.
Assist programs that secure the client’s end-to-end supply chain.
Support the Crisis Management and Business Continuity programs throughout the region.
Oversee security at the client Headquarters in London and secondary executive premises.
Manage security for board and executive-sponsored events in the UK and the wider region.
Deliver the Region’s Security Awareness and Education initiatives, including operational security, risk management, resilience, and brand protection.
Manage security incident responses, investigations, and provide advice to personnel at all levels.
Conduct Site Security Assurance audits and manage the Global Security Services contract within the area of responsibility, ensuring high standards of delivery and performance.
Advise on development and strategy for site technical security projects, including security technology, equipment requirements, and process simplification.
Develop and deliver strategic security awareness briefings for management teams and employees, along with other security education materials.
Establish and maintain liaison with international and national intelligence and law enforcement agencies to support global security response activities, including providing a 24/7 security response service as necessary.
Identify threats to the business units, assess risks, and provide proportionate advice to effectively manage these risks.
Candidate Requirements
This role requires a strong understanding of corporate security procedures, risk management methodologies, investigations, incident management, crisis and continuity management, operational security threat management, security intelligence, and security technology.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong presentation skills, are essential to support all levels of client leadership with reliable, meaningful information for fact-based decision-making.
Extensive leadership and project management experience are required.
The candidate must be able to work within matrix teams to identify and address various challenges related to global security threats and risk management.
Regional experience in the UK/EU is preferred.
