You will have a global remit and work with stakeholders at all levels in marketing, sales, and the CRM team. You will also line manage an Email Executive and oversee the relationship with ClickDimensions, our email and automation platform vendor.
What You’ll Do:
Campaign automation and email marketing
- Design automated marketing campaigns aimed at increasing lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Apply your thorough understanding of marketing funnel principles, lead cycles, lead scoring and grading, audience selection, user journeys, and campaign automation management.
- Work closely with global and regional marketing teams, sales, the CRM product owner, and ClickDimensions to ensure seamless campaign automation and email send execution.
- Manage the Email Executive to build automations, new templates, and email sends, ensuring their work is of the highest standard.
Performance analytics
- Track, analyse, and benchmark KPIs for email campaign and automation performance.
- Create and communicate detailed analysis and performance reports to help make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
- Provide guidance on optimizing lead nurturing with a focus on driving engagement and scalability.
- Enhance our A/B testing, personalisation and dynamic content strategies for email to derive more actionable insights and to optimize performance and conversions.
Training, processes, and development
- You will be the main point of contact to support both global and regional marketing teams, ensuring they fully optimize the marketing automation platform.
- Facilitate training for all new users on the platform, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Regularly share best practices with the Marketing team to promote efficiency and innovation.
- Lead the testing of all platform updates and new developments.
Compliance and governance
- Oversee the planning and delivery of all email marketing ensuring it follows industry best practice, our processes and brand guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with global data legislation.
- Monitor email deliverability and address any issues.
Who You Are:
Essential experience
- Several years of experience in an email marketing and automation role, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and industry trends.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., ClickDimensions, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Dynamics 365 Customer Insights).
- Excellent understanding of CRM systems such as Dynamics 365 and the connectivity with automation platforms.
- A proven track record of measuring and analysing the performance of digital marketing activities and campaigns.
- Experience working collaboratively with senior stakeholders and teams across the globe.
Preferred experience
- Previous line management experience would be desirable, but not essential.
Qualifications and skills
- University degree or a higher education qualification (business, marketing, digital or a related subject) is desirable.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating a professional manner when working to tight deadlines and last-minute changes.
