The Job:
- Be part of a team to initially help set up the plant/factory, assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the converting lines.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of operators.
- Troubleshoot/maintain manufacturing and materials handling machinery such as conveyors, high speed materials processing machines, pneumatics, PLCs, bearings, wrappers, palletisers, packaging machinery.
The Person:
- Seeking 2 x Electrical bias & 2 x Mechanical bias.
- Apprentice trained, NVQ 3, ONC, HNC.
- Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important.
- Manufacturing plant experience e.g. materials, packaging, FMCG, automated warehousing, stackers, sorters/sortation, robotics, sensors.
