The Person:
- Experience of designing special purpose machinery
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering, and experience producing designs for manufacture
- 2D and 3D experience (AutoCAD, Solidworks etc)
- Understand motor and gearbox power, material and equipment throughput rates
- ATEX or PED understanding would be useful
- Designing machinery for food or chemical process would be an advantage
The Role:
- Evaluate and assess customer specifications / calculations and convert into machine for manufacture
- Collaborate and interact with technical sales engineers
- Working on projects from concept to completion
- Create manufacturing drawings
