The Job:
- Initially help oversee construction, installation, commissioning and start up of state of the art machinery. Working closely with market leading OEM Engineers.
- Ensure H&S and compliance within mechanical engineering team.
- Support and influence mechanical engineering strategy, ensuring strategy is delivered across the site.
- Support implementation of reliability to ensure min downtime through data driven approaches.
The Person:
- Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC level mechanical engineering or similar.
- Ability to be flexible and part of a dynamic and fast growing team and division that will develop and evolve.
- Good interpersonal skills - communication, stakeholder engagement.
- Gear box, motors, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, agitators, rotating equipment, centrifugal pumps, overhead cranes, steam systems.
Nice to have but not essential:
- Project experience – expansion, modernisation, new factory or plant build.
- Installation, commissioning, start-up of machines and equipment.
- BOAS or / and steam boiler expertise.
