Field Service Engineer - Industrial Combustion
Location: homebased with regional & occasional national travel
Salary: Basic negotiable + typical earnings £60 - 85k depending on overtime + car or van + overtime / allowances + pension + 25 days holiday
Hours: 39 hours / door to door pay. Overtime is not compulsory and very much optional although it is generally always available.
The Person
- Experienced working on large industrial burners (2MW and above)
- Industrial or commercial gas experience essential (eg one or more of the following COGN1, CIGA, BMP1, TPCP1, CONGLP1 or similar)
- Some electrical skills and experience required
- Training and shadowing available for the right person but some prior qualifications & experience with industrial gas and burners required.
- May suit ex marine / navy engineers.
The Job
- A mix of routine scheduled service, breakdowns / repairs, installation and commissioning projects
- Work with industrial and commercial companies providing services for burners, combustion technology, packaged plant rooms, steam & HW boilers, process, incineration, power generation.
- Electrical skills and experience required
- Stay away from home 6 nights per month on average. Regional / local work but required to cover other areas as required.
