Location: Hazel Grove, Poynton, Bramhall, Stockport

Starting salary: £28,000 – 37,000 + plenty of overtime + 8% pension + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am – 4.30pm (early finish Friday)

The Job:

  • Working for a well established, successful and growing company with great training and progression opportunities.
  • Assist in the building and manufacturing of special purpose machinery for the manufacturing sector.
  • Mechanical roles involve: assemblies, sub assemblies, fitting, keep accurate parts lists.
  • Electrical roles involve: wire, build, test machinery; panel wiring, back plates, panel layouts, install PLC and HMI programs.
  • Training provided on areas / gaps in skills or experience.

The Person:

  • Ideally you will have experience gained in a manufacturing plant or assembly shop environment.
  • Familiar with engineering drawings, assemblies and sub assemblies, panels.
  • Willing to learn, health and safety focused, good awareness and a can do attitude.
  • Ideally City & Guilds or NVQ certificates in engineering but not essential.
