Control Now is a London-based RegTech firm focused on making transaction reporting accurate, reliable, automated, and cost-efficient, while remaining adaptable as regulations evolve. Since 2017, the company has helped banks, brokers, asset managers, and hedge funds replace manual, fragmented processes with trusted reporting infrastructure, reducing operational risk and cost. Its platform, Control Box, serves a diverse client base across multiple regulatory jurisdictions and turns reporting into a controlled, auditable operational capability.
The Regulatory Affairs Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater London, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for overseeing regulatory reporting obligations across relevant jurisdictions, ensuring that Control Now’s solutions and internal processes align with evolving regulatory requirements. Day-to-day activities include interpreting new and existing regulations, advising internal teams on regulatory implications, and supporting the design and enhancement of the Control Box platform to reflect accurate regulatory logic.
The Regulatory Affairs Manager will prepare and manage regulatory submissions, contribute to policy and procedure development, and collaborate closely with product, technology, and client-facing teams to address regulatory queries. The role also involves monitoring changes in the regulatory landscape, maintaining documentation and quality system controls, and supporting clients with guidance on best practices for transaction reporting.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong transaction reporting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, product teams, implementation teams and senior stakeholders. We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager who specialises in MIFIR, but we welcome applications from regime generalists and/or specialists in other regulatory regimes.

- Client Delivery:
- Business Analysis: Translate regulatory requirements and client business needs into clear business technical specification e.g. transformation logic, validation requirements, configuration changes and client-specific business rules. Provide clear regulatory rationale and traceability for requirements, linking them back to regulatory texts, guidance or agreed business analysis.
- Onboarding: Confirming business requirements, reviewing client processes and helping define how Control Now services should be configured. Lead or support client workshops to review data, debug results, identify issues and agree actions. Configure or support the configuration of business-level rules, demo setups and training materials where required. Work with clients and internal teams to ensure onboarding activity is aligned to the client’s reporting obligations and operating model.
- Project Management: Definition of project scope and plan for delivery (Gantt charts, activity plans, resource planning, rag status, expected and forecast date). Management of regular process for reviewing plan, updating activities, managing stakeholders and escalating where required.
- Compliance Support: Provide second-line regulatory and configuration support for client queries. Answer client and internal questions relating to transaction reporting requirements, Control Box configuration, validation results and reporting outcomes.
