Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target key clients - operators, service companies, and engineering firms
  • Proactively generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline
  • Manage the full sales process from initial contact to closing
  • Develop proposals, lead technical presentations, and negotiate contracts
  • Project manage engagements from sale through to delivery
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Protect and advance both client and Control Cutter’s commercial interests
  • Identify upselling opportunities and maximise revenue and margins
  • Cultivate long‑lasting relationships with new and existing clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor demonstrating ongoing value of our solutions
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction to foster repeat business
  • Represent Control Cutter at industry conferences and trade shows
  • Develop deep technical understanding of Control Cutter’s products
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
  • Provide regular market insights and sales forecasts to Group Head of Sales
  • Collaborate with operations teams for smooth sales-to-execution handover

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in engineering, business, or related field - engineering background preferred
  • 5-10+ years in technical sales or business development in offshore energy
  • Verifiable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of European decommissioning, subsea, or well intervention markets
  • Existing network within major operators and service companies is a significant advantage
  • Proficiency with CRM software for pipeline management
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events
