The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for managing and optimising our website, creating engaging content, co-managing our social media channels, supporting internal communications, assisting with marketing campaigns, and helping produce monthly analytics reports.
Digital & E-Commerce
- Website Management β Load products, update descriptions/images, and write SEO-optimised copy to drive organic traffic.
- Content & Socials β Co-plan the digital content calendar and co-manage social media channels (posting and community engagement). Supporting marketing events and campaigns.
- Creative Assets β Design website banners and social media imagery using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Communications & Admin
- Inbox & Enquiries β Co-manage the main enquiries inbox and provide ad-hoc support to the sales team.
- Internal Comms β Support with the quarterly newsletter and internal employee engagement emails.
- Quality Control β Proofread all marketing collateral and liaise with external suppliers.
Reporting
- Analytics β Produce monthly reports on website and social media performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and Hootsuite.
Qualifications
- Experience in a digital marketing role.
- Good organisational skills.
- A strong team player.
- Knowledge in HTML.
- GCSEs in English & Maths or equivalent.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge in Google Analytics and SEO.
- Experience using the Adobe Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), Canva, MailChimp, / Hootsuite.
- Good general IT knowledge.
