Our Cumbernauld depot is now recruiting for Traffic Management Operatives.
We are offering positions at trainee-level and to candidates with previous experience in the Traffic Management Industry.
What will you do?
You will be responsible for ensuring the overall safety of our roads. At Contraflow Ltd, the daily tasks of a traffic management operative will vary between...
- Set up and maintain traffic management equipment.
- Perform essential tasks in the depot, including equipment maintenance.
- Display signage.
- Install temporary traffic lights as required.
- Ensure all operational needs are met through physically demanding work.

Our in -house trainers will assist you every step of the way and aid your career progression by helping you obtain every traffic management qualification. Progression is based on your attitude, ability, and reliability.
You WILL require...
- A Manual driving license.
- Own transport to commute to and from the depot (due to start and end times unsuited to public transport)
- No prior experience is necessary; however, a background in construction or labour is preferred.
- To be fully flexible… as our shift patterns will include day, night and weekend work + long hours over 7 days a week.
What does your pay look like?
- Starting pay = National Minimum Wage: £10 (U21) and £12.21 (21+).
- After 4 to 6 months, your pay can increase to £12.50 (day shift), £12.90 (night shift), and £13.40 (weekend shift).
- Within 6 to 12 months, with the required qualifications, your pay could rise to £13.10 (day shift), £15.20 (night shift), and £16.35 (weekend shift)
