Electrical Systems Engineer CCL Global is recruiting an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to support the design and delivery of advanced electrical power conversion systems for high-profile marine and power generation projects.
Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end electrical systems design of motors, generators, drives and switchboards, supporting projects from concept through to manufacture, testing and final delivery.

- Type: 6 Month contract, Inside IR35 Clearance: Active SC or Eligible Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate electrical systems to meet customer requirements.
- Produce electrical schematics using E-Plan (or equivalent).
- Create 2D electrical layouts using Auto CAD.
- Develop and manage Bills of Materials within Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
- Support manufacturing, procurement and supplier quality activities.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and technical reviews.
- Apply Design for Manufacture & Assembly (Df MA) principles throughout the design lifecycle.
- Provide technical support across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong electrical systems design experience.
- Proficient with E-Plan (or similar electrical CAD software).
- Auto CAD experience producing electrical layouts.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, electrical testing and system integration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Having an Active SC clearance or eligible to obtain SC.
- Siemens Teamcenter PLM experience.
- Project planning or project management exposure.
- Experience with active magnetic bearing systems.
- Background within marine, defence, power generation or industrial power conversion environments.
