Job Description: Mechanical Engineer Location: Stafford Contract: 6 months from start date Scope: Inside IR35, full-time onsite Overview: You will be part of a team that will handle a wide range of equipment within the GSE. You will assist in a variety of roles including planned/Ad-Hoc advanced repairs, using various sources such as Approved Source Information (ASI) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) data. Key services include. Surveying, repair, general maintenance, recommendations for modifications, you will take pride in adhering to schedules and budgets offering expertise in resolving Urgent Operational Requirements (UORs) for equipment lacking OEM support. Duties: * Perform self-directed Test; Diagnostics; Repair; Maintenance; Modification; Calibration and Manufacture of Equipment down to module / individual component level using approved Engineering Documentation and techniques. * Hold Self-Certification; Over-Signing; Certifying Training and Over-Signing of Junior / Equivalent grade Staff
