CCL Global is seeking an experienced Design Project Manager to support the delivery of major UK power and energy infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities across large-scale projects, working closely with engineering, construction, commercial, client and site teams from design development through to construction and commissioning. Candidates must have demonstrable experience supporting the delivery of large-scale power generation, energy or grid infrastructure projects in the region of 400 MW or above. Location: Home-based with UK site visits and HO (London) Employment: Permanent or Contract Key Responsibilities - Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design delivery across major power projects. - Manage design programmes, deliverables, interfaces and key milestones. - Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical and associated engineering disciplines. - Act as the key interface between design, engineering, construction and project delivery teams. - Manage consultants, subcontractors and external design partners. - Lead design reviews and ensure solutions are safe, compliant and constructible. - Manage design risks, technical queries, changes and project interfaces. - Ensure design information is delivered in line with programme and construction requirements. - Support projects through design, procurement, construction and commissioning. Essential Requirements - Proven Design Project Management / Design Management experience within the power or energy sector. - Demonstrable experience delivering 400 MW+ power/energy projects. - Strong multidisciplinary engineering and design coordination experience. - Experience taking major projects through design into construction. - Strong understanding of design governance, risk and project interfaces. - Excellent stakeholder, consultant and contractor management skills. - Comfortable working independently from home and travelling to project sites as required. Experience across BESS, power generation, renewable energy, substations, grid infrastructure or other major EPC power projects would be particularly relevant
