A documentation-focused Sub-Agent is required for a major infrastructure and energy project in the far north of Scotland. This is not a setting-out role. The work centres on keeping a demanding construction package organised, compliant and moving: managing technical records, quality paperwork, inspections, permits, RAMS, handover information and day-to-day coordination across the project team. The scheme includes a new and existing substation, five steel-frame buildings, concrete floors, roads and drainage. Experience around substations, power, utilities or major infrastructure would be useful, but the key requirement is someone with an engineering background who is exceptionally comfortable with detailed site documentation and strict contractor/client processes. You will need: SMSTS and CSCS Previous Sub-Agent, Site Engineer, Section Engineer or similar experience Strong QA, technical documentation and site-coordination skills The confidence to deal with thorough, exacting paperwork requirements Ideally, exposure to concrete, steel structures, drainage and roads Start is available immediately for an initial six-month assignment, with realistic potential for further work on other projects for a strong performer. The site week runs 7:00am–6:00pm Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday. A later start on Monday may be possible for those travelling to the location from further afield. Accommodation and lunch are provided for those candidates travelling from outside the local area.
