Contract Scotland are working closely with a reputable building contractor to source an experienced Site Manager to lead upcoming refurbishment projects across Edinburgh and Central Scotland. As Site Manager, you will work on a varied portfolio of work across a range of sectors including commercial, education, industrial, and heritage, within the public and private sectors. You will play a leading role in the successful delivery of building projects ranging from around £250k - £4m in value.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining and developing site records.
  • Pushing forward projects in line with budget and quality guidelines.
  • Monitoring site progress.
  • Maintaining and growing strong relationships with clients and sub-contractors.
  • Inducting site visitors and sub-contractors and completing any necessary documentation.
  • Supporting the Contracts Manager with all site related activities.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.

To be considered for this role, you will be a driven and professional individual, with demonstrable construction management experience on refurbishment projects. You will also hold valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
