About the Opportunity
Step into the ground floor of a major transmission line upgrade project, extending over 100km and set to run for several years. In the first year, you\’ll be central to the investigation, setting out, and preparation works. As the project progresses, you\’ll expand your skills further—taking a lead role in risk assessment, quality assurance, and construction supervision alongside an experienced on-site leadership team.
The Role
- Planning and executing site surveys, setting out, and reporting during the initial phases
- Supporting and driving risk assessment, compliance, and safety culture as works intensify
- Collaborating with project management and site teams to deliver results to high engineering standards
- Enjoying a rotational schedule (10 days on, 4 off), with accommodation provided for non-local candidates—ensuring comfort and balance during long-term works
- Developing your expertise across all stages: from initial investigation to full-scale build, and representing best practice throughout

- Experienced with site-based engineering roles – Site Engineer, Senior Engineer etc (in civil engineering projects, general or energy upgrade focused).
