Contract Scotland is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for a Site Agent to deliver a key infrastructure project within Edinburgh Airport. About the Role: Initial works (June – September 2025) will involve construction of an airside compound on disused airport land, including: Earthworks and drainage Utilities and road construction Concrete foundations/hardstands Modular office installation Fencing works From November 2025, focus will shift to supporting a major runway rehabilitation programme operating across day and night shifts. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site operations and manage on-site teams and subcontractors Ensure compliance with airport-specific security and operational procedures Liaise with Edinburgh Airport representatives to coordinate permits, access, and notifications Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance Ensure programme, quality, and cost targets are met Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working on airside or landside projects at Edinburgh Airport Familiarity with airport systems, permit processes, and security protocols Relevant certifications: SMSTS (essential), First Aid, Appointed Person (desirable) Proven background in civil engineering delivery, ideally in safety-critical or secure environments Legal Information: We act as an employment agency for permanent work and as an employment business for temporary work.
