With a proven track record across rail, civil engineering, and infrastructure frameworks, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role within a stable, forward-thinking organisation.The Role Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take full ownership of the commercial management of projects from initial concept through to final account and defects liability. You will oversee contractual commitments, manage cost control, and proactively challenge and support project teams to deliver best-value outcomes.This position requires strong leadership, commercial expertise, and excellent communication skills, with regular interaction across clients, project teams, and supply chain partners.Key Responsibilities End-to-end commercial management of projectsManaging CVRs, target costs, and cost control processesContract administration, including NEC3 and ICC formsSupporting and influencing commercial strategyDeveloping and maintaining strong stakeholder relationshipsProviding commercial guidance and mentorship within the teamThe Ideal Candidate Commercially qualified with strong CVR and target cost experienceSolid working knowledge of NEC3 and ICC forms of contractProven experience within rail, civil engineering, infrastructure, or framework environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised with strong analytical and reporting capabilitiesConfident working autonomously with strong planning and decision-making skillsAble to build trusted relationships with key project influencersWhat\’s on Offer Competitive salaryCompany car or car allowanceComprehensive benefits packageFlexible working arrangements (site, office, and home-based)Long-term career stability supported by a strong pipeline of secured workInterested?
