A well-known civil engineering contractor is looking to bring in an experienced Site Engineer for a major roads and infrastructure project starting mid-May in Galashiels. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team delivering a busy programme of works through to November.

The Role

  • You’ll be supporting the delivery of key civils activities including:
  • Earthworks
  • Drainage
  • Road construction
  • General infrastructure works

This isn’t an entry-level role – we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and support the site team with accurate setting-out, quality checks, and day-to-day engineering duties.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
  • Strong background in earthworks, drainage, or road construction
  • Valid CSCS
  • Ability to work independently and support a fast-moving site
  • Availability from 18th May
