This is a great opportunity to join an established construction business and play an important role in the continued growth of its Central West Scotland operation.

You ll be part of a supportive team with opportunities for development, progression and long-term career growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead business development and work-winning activity across the region.
  • Identify new opportunities and develop a strong pipeline in target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, partners and key stakeholders.
  • Manage key customer accounts and develop relationships that generate future opportunities.
  • Support tender and bidding activity, using customer and market knowledge to strengthen submissions.
  • Work with the senior management team to support business and growth strategies.
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, networking opportunities and customer meetings.
  • Maintain engagement with local markets and communities.
  • Identify opportunities to work collaboratively across the wider business.
  • Keep the CRM up to date and provide regular reports on pipeline and business development activity.
  • What You'll Need
  • Proven experience in business development, work-winning or a related commercial role.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of customer requirements.
  • The ability to identify opportunities and think strategically.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, including CRM experience.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership.
  • Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, property or the wider built environment would be advantageous.
