Technically challenging civil engineering projects ~£6,000 per year tax-free working-away allowance ~ Company-provided accommodation (all bills included) ~ Work within an established, major civil engineering contractor with a strong Scottish pipeline An award-winning civil engineering contractor, has an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to develop their expertise and contribute to high-quality infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in site operations throughout the entire project cycle, working across sectors such as marine and coastal works, highways, flood defence, bridges, and ports and harbours. Site Operations & Supervision ~ Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work aligns with project plans and specifications. ~ Collaborate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and project teams. ~ Identify risks to project delivery and resolve or escalate promptly. ~ Compliance & Quality Inspect materials and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Address non-compliance or quality issues, escalating as required. Third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a civil engineering role. Full driving licence valid in the UK/Ireland. Flexibility to travel and work on multiple projects across the UK.
