Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile renewable energy project in Ayrshire. This is a pivotal role offering the chance to drive project success within a collaborative, innovative, and dynamic environment.
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of all aspects of project delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with all relevant regulations. You will bring a strong track record in managing complex civil engineering projects and a commitment to delivering excellence at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management across the project
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and site teams
- Manage project budgets, commercial performance, and financial control
- Supervise, support, and develop site personnel to deliver results
- Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of the project
- Produce detailed progress reports and maintain accurate project records
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards
Essential Requirements
- Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience managing complex civil engineering projects
- Strong technical knowledge of civil site operations
- Experience using Microsoft Project and working with NEC3/4 contracts
- Excellent communication, leadership, and proactive problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
