Job Title: Project Manager Location: Isle of Lewis Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking to appoint a permanent Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major earthworks project on the Isle of Lewis. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values creativity, innovation and the delivery of high-quality results. Role Overview As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, cost-effectively and in full compliance with all relevant regulations. With a strong focus on excellence in project delivery, you will bring a proven track record of managing a range of civil engineering projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities Ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards across all projects. Building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients. Managing project budgets and maintaining strict financial control. Supervising and supporting all site-based personnel. Overseeing the commercial aspects of project delivery. Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate project records. Essential Requirements Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline). Demonstrable experience of successfully managing a variety of civil engineering projects. Previous experience of civil earthworks projects (advantageous). Strong technical knowledge and oversight of all civil site activities. Excellent communication skills with a proactive and professional approach. Full UK driving licence. Accommodation and travel costs will be covered.
