Site Engineer | Six-month contract | Inverurie & North Aberdeen We are working with an established civil engineering contractor to recruit a self-employed Site Engineer for a six-month contract, supporting a number of sites in Inverurie and north of Aberdeen. The work involves traditional groundworks packages, with the engineer moving between sites to provide setting-out and engineering support as required. This contract will suit someone who enjoys a varied workload and is comfortable managing their time across several live projects. You’ll work closely with site teams to interpret drawings, carry out setting out, check levels and dimensions, and help ensure work is delivered accurately to the required specification. We’re looking for someone with practical site engineering experience on groundworks projects, a confident approach to setting out, and the ability to work independently while maintaining good communication with site management. A valid CSCS card is essential, and you must be able to travel between the sites. The engagement is on a self-employed basis for six months. Accommodation will be provided for contractors travelling from outside Aberdeenshire.
