What You'll Be Doing
As a General Foreman, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, leading site teams while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations and supervising subcontractors and direct labour.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
- Coordinating with Site Agents, Engineers, and Project Managers to maintain progress.
- Promoting a strong health and safety culture across site activities.
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Supporting the planning and organisation of labour, plant, and materials.
