Lead high-profile projects with a respected construction business across the Highlands. Contract Scotland are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager on behalf of a leading contractor based in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced construction professional to join a business with a strong project pipeline and an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality developments.
The Role
- Supervising projects from inception through to completion, demonstrating a strong commitment to Health & Safety while ensuring quality, best practice, and operational excellence are maintained throughout all stages of the build.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to members of the project team.
- Managing project progress and proactively addressing any delays.
- Ensuring dimensional controls are established and maintained from the outset.
- Completing daily site diaries via the BIM 360 Field platform.
- Planning, implementing, and monitoring site logistics.
- Coordinating and managing staff, labour, and subcontractors through construction to final handover.
- Ensuring compliance with Quality Control and Quality Management procedures.
- Maintaining full compliance with Health & Safety Management systems and site standards.
- Communicating effectively with the Design Team to ensure timely release of design information.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, neighbours, and stakeholders.
About You
- Have a construction-related degree or come from a trade background with strong construction management experience.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Hold a valid CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
- Have strong Health & Safety awareness and good First Aid knowledge.
- Be confident managing multiple site activities while maintaining quality and programme targets.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced construction environment.
