Our client is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to support the delivery of civil engineering works across multiple sites in the north of Scotland. Based in Inverness, the role will involve working closely with project managers, senior engineers, and site teams to assist with the planning, execution, and successful delivery of infrastructure projects. This exciting opportunity offers graduate civil engineers, ideally with a few years of practical civil engineering experience, exposure to nationally significant power and utilities projects across Scotland. You will gain practical on-site experience while developing your career within a forward-thinking and expanding organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of civil engineering projects from planning through to completion.
- Support site activities, including setting out, quality checks, progress monitoring, and reporting.
- Work closely with site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
- Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress, costs, and materials, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Travel regularly between project sites across the north of Scotland.
