Our client, a highly regarded Civil Engineering Contractor based in Glasgow, is seeking a Scheme Project Manager to join their dynamic team. You will play a key role in the Access for All program, overseeing civil structural renewal projects across Scotland’s rail network.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Health & Safety management on projects.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to site staff.
- Coordinate projects to meet deadlines and client specifications.
- Manage project development in line with approved plans & targets.
- Implement and manage procurement schedules, productivity trackers, and outputs.
- Undertake additional engineering responsibilities as required.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Drive Value Engineering opportunities through design and development.
- Prepare formal project progress reports.
- Oversee sub-contractor management.
About You
- Proven experience as Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Sub Agent, or Site Manager.
- Background in civil engineering, preferably with rail, structural, or heavy civil projects.
- Qualified to HNC/HND level or above.
- Strong ability to collaborate with clients, designers, and stakeholders.
