We’re partnering with a well-established civil engineering contractor to find a meticulous and proactive Document Controller to join their growing team. This role has been created to support the continued expansion of their document control function, working alongside an experienced team to implement and standardise best practice across all projects.
Our client is a trusted name in civil engineering, delivering major infrastructure projects across a variety of sectors. They are known for fostering strong relationships, valuing their teams, and delivering projects that make a lasting, positive impact.
What You’ll Do
- Document Control & CDE Management
- Maintain and manage project documents in the Common Data Environment (CDE), following naming conventions and filing protocols
- Track document versions, approvals, and distribution
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procedures are followed
- Monitor submissions and deadlines, and carry out regular audits
- Quality Assurance Support
- Assist with QA inspections by collating and tracking records and reports
- Support site teams with the preparation and submission of QA documentation
- Ensure compliance with project and industry QA standards
- O&M Documentation Management
- Collect, review, and compile operational and maintenance manuals from subcontractors and suppliers
- Coordinate accurate and complete documentation delivery to clients at project completion
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in document control within construction or civil engineering
- Familiarity with platforms like ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) or similar
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and ability to manage relationships across teams
- Able to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team
