Technically challenging civil engineering projects with a tax-free working-away allowance of approximately £6,000 per year and company-provided accommodation (all bills included). Work within an established, major civil engineering contractor with a strong Scottish pipeline. An award-winning civil engineering contractor has an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to develop their expertise and contribute to high-quality infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in site operations throughout the entire project cycle, working across sectors such as marine and coastal works, highways, flood defence, bridges, and ports and harbours.

Site Operations & Supervision:

  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work aligns with project plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Identify risks to project delivery and resolve or escalate promptly.

Compliance & Quality:

  • Inspect materials and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Address non-compliance or quality issues, escalating as required.

Qualifications:

  • Third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a civil engineering role.
  • Full driving licence valid in the UK/Ireland.
  • Flexibility to travel and work on multiple projects across the UK.
