Our client is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to support the delivery of civil engineering works across multiple sites in the north of Scotland. Based in Inverness, the role will involve working closely with project managers, senior engineers, and site teams to assist with the planning, execution, and successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

This exciting opportunity offers graduate civil engineers, ideally with a few years of practical civil engineering experience, exposure to nationally significant power and utilities projects across Scotland.

  • Assist with the delivery of civil engineering projects from planning through to completion.
  • Support site activities, including setting out, quality checks, progress monitoring, and reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Travel regularly between project sites across the north of Scotland.

Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Ideally experience working in a civil engineering environment (site or project-based). Exposure to infrastructure, utilities, energy, or construction projects would be advantageous. Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and basic project controls.
