Overview

Temporary Cost/Commercial Administrator – Glasgow (Office-Based, with 1 day a WFH option)

Rate: £12.50 – £13.50 per hour (DOE)

Start Date: As soon as the right person is identified

Duration: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

Working Hours & Benefits

Full-time office-based role with the option to work from home one day per week, arranged in advance with the line manager

Standard working hours: 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm (with a one-hour lunch break)

On-site free café, with breakfast and lunch provided daily in the staff canteen

The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Cost/Commercial Administrator to join a busy commercial team within a growing facilities management business, supporting their key accounts department based in Glasgow.

This role is well-suited to someone with a background in cost or commercial administration, who is confident working with data and has a strong understanding of cost review processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Handle cost reviews and quotations for an existing portfolio of clients
  • Maintain and manage data using Microsoft Excel
  • Ensure all commercial documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Liaise with internal teams to provide timely and accurate support on client accounts

What We\’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a cost, commercial, or financial administration role
  • High level of proficiency in Excel (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot trends in data
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced office environment
  • Experience in construction or facilities management is advantageous but not essential
  • Immediately available or available at short notice
