Are you one of those rare people who have operational oversight of a project and make the numbers stack up? A highly successful, family-run specialist concrete/civil engineering contractor is looking for a 'Project & Commercial Manager' to take ownership of live projects across Scotland. Working closely with the senior team, you'll blend hands-on operational control with commercial and financial responsibility, making sure each job is delivered safely, on programme – and profitably. This is not a corporate, “one person per task” environment. It will suit someone who enjoys rolling their sleeves up, taking accountability and getting things done in a lean, tight-knit team.

The opportunity:

  • Take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of reinforced concrete / civils packages, from pre-start through to final account.
  • Work directly with the directors and regional leads, helping to free them up to focus on strategic growth and key client relationships.
  • Lead planning, resourcing and delivery on site while owning the commercial picture: costs, value, change, margin and cash.
  • Play a key role as the business continues to grow both its specialist subcontract offering and a selective pipeline of main-contracting projects.
