Our client is a well-established fit-out specialist within the construction industry, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors including retail, leisure, food and beverage, commercial, and more. They are looking to expand their team with a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to work out of their Glasgow office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and control costs for construction projects.
- Assist in preparing budgets, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Review and evaluate contractor tenders, assisting with the negotiation and preparation of contracts.
- Maintain and foster strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on project performance, identifying and mitigating any potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
You will have
- A Quantity Surveying degree.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a background in fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
- Reliable, proactive, and capable of managing your workload independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
In return
- £40,000 - £60,000 DOE plus car allowance.
