Temporary Administrator – Musselburgh Location: Musselburgh Contract: Temporary, with the potential to become permanent Hours: Full-time, office-based Pay Rate: £12.00 – £12.50 per hour We are currently recruiting for a confident and detail-oriented Administrator to join a busy office-based team in Musselburgh. This is a temporary position with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. The ideal applicant will have up-to-date experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. You should be confident with tasks such as conditional formatting, data sorting, and chart creation. Experience or a keen interest in ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and supporting Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental administration is also highly valued. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records, including input and tracking of timesheets Use Excel confidently to manage and present data (e.g. conditional formatting, charts, data sorting) Provide general administrative support to ensure documentation and systems are up to date Assist with ISO documentation management (9001, 14001, 45001) Support QHSE processes including audits, compliance checks, and reporting Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to support smooth operations What We’re Looking For Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong Excel skills including conditional formatting, chart creation, and data organisation Good attention to detail, especially when handling timesheets and financial records Previous experience or genuine interest in Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards Highly organised and self-motivated with a proactive approach Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 is desirable but not essential If you are looking for a varied administrative role in a supportive and structured office environment, with potential for longer-term development, we would love to hear from you.
