This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative, solutions-driven team on a prestigious city-centre scheme. The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on site logistics, coordination, and the integration of building services throughout the construction process.
As Site Manager, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations, with particular emphasis on sequencing works, coordinating trades, and ensuring efficient site logistics on a tightly constrained site.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating trades and subcontractors with a focus on programme sequencing and logistics
- Overseeing site logistics including access, material flow, and workface planning in a busy city-centre environment
- Working closely with the Project Manager and M&E teams to ensure smooth integration of building services with internal works
- Monitoring progress to ensure programme deadlines are achieved
- Ensuring all works are delivered safely, to a high standard, and in line with current regulations
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety inspections
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting on progress
We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a main contracting environment, ideally on complex or logistically challenging projects. A strong understanding of site logistics is essential, alongside a working knowledge of building services and how they interface with internal packages.
You should be confident coordinating multiple trades, proactively resolving site challenges, and driving programme and quality outcomes. A valid CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS certification are required.
We value diversity and promote equality. We encourage and welcome applications from all areas of society and can discuss any reasonable adjustments to support your application.
