Are you a skilled CAD Technician with a background in structural design?
Our client, a reputable civil infrastructure engineering consultancy, is seeking a Structural CAD Technician to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a few years’ experience who enjoys turning technical information into clear, accurate drawings.
The Role:
You’ll be producing structural drawings across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes. Working closely with engineers and project leads, you’ll take technical details, sketches, and calculations to create high-quality drawings ready for design approval and construction.Â
Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare structural CAD drawings using AutoCAD (and/or Revit if applicable).
- Translate engineers’ sketches and mark-ups into accurate technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings meet company and industry standards.
- Liaise with engineers, architects, and other team members to clarify design requirements.
- Maintain drawing files and document control.
