Contract Scotland is supporting a major civil engineering contractor with the appointment of a Sub-Agent for a long-term infrastructure project in the south-west of Scotland. This is a significant scheme involving general civils, structures and an element of rail interface, requiring experienced individuals who can step in and support the delivery team immediately.
The Opportunity
- Overseeing day-to-day delivery of civils works
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring safe, efficient site operations
- Supporting planning, programming and progress reporting
- Ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards
- Liaising with design teams and contributing to technical solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Sub-Agent on civil engineering projects
- Strong understanding of site delivery, safety and quality processes
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and coordinate subcontractors
- Rail experience beneficial
- CRE(C) knowledge or qualification highly desirable for the rail-focused role
- Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
